The Autumn season is one of the best times of the year to take some shots- beautiful changes in foliage and weather make it a perfect time to experiment and explore with photography.

Now, stealing in reality is frowned upon and unacceptable, but when it comes to photography, stealing ideas is ok! Mr.DIllon encourages the club members that when they see a technique or a idea in a photo, that they should also try it out in their own way. Who knows, your version can even  be better than the model you were using. Some tips for the season of Fall and just in general for photography are updated here on this page, so always keep checking to see what latest tip or trick we have to share.

Leaf Collage

The photographer of this piece most likely did not find these beautiful leaves just arranged here by chance, but rather found and collect them and put them there for this reason. Obviously it would be too perfect if the trees just happened to drop these leaves in one spot, but in the end, the photo looks very attractive to the eye. You can steal this idea too and just make a collage of the coolest looking leaves you see. Take advantage of the changing of the colors of the leaves and this season. Don't be afraid to experiment and explore.

Reflections

If you happen to be in outer Pennsylvania during this two week period when Autumn takes it toll on nature and sets the woods on fire (the colors of the leaves changing) be sure to take your camera and take some shots.

Another very common beautiful theme a bookmark reflection in a river ,lake ,or stream as seen in this photo. Whenever you see still water, see if you can get a shot of a reflection in it as seen here.
Impressionistic Watercolor
Since taking pictures is all about light,  I'm always looking at subjects with this in mind . This is a fresh perspective on autumn foliage because it is only the reflection of the leaves in the water. The ripples caused by the wind makes it look like a impressionistic painting. This image is unaltered in any way and is an explosion of color and light.
